Public Service MedalThe Public Service Medal was established in 1991 to recognise outstanding service by members of the Australian public services and other government employees, including those in local government.

Thirty five Public Service Medals have been awarded since its inception. Recent recipients included:

Ms Hilary MULHALL PSM

For outstanding public service as a clinical midwife employed by the Rockingham/Kwinana Health Service.

Mr Arthur LINTO PSM

For playing a major role in preventing the entry of significant livestock diseases and weeds into Western Australia through the development of an efficient system for inspection of stock consignments entering the State by road and rail.

Mr Gary BOWLER PSM

For outstanding service in the Department of Family and Children’s Services, particularly achievements associated with the New Directions in Child Protection and Family Support.

 

Acknowledgement of Country
